I was nervous about a sweet scent being too cloying, but the skin musk and white cedar keep it soft and grounded instead. I catch whiffs of warm mahogany wood hours later, and it wears so light I almost forget I put it on.
The dry-down is where this one shines—the mahogany wood keeps the marshmallow from being too cloying, and the skin musk makes it feel like my own scent but better. I keep catching whiffs of it on my collar hours later and smiling. It's light enough for daytime but has this cozy warmth that lingers.
Got this after reading about the warm notes and it’s exactly that—the marshmallow’s sweet but the mahogany wood keeps it grounded, not cloying. Wore it to work and three people asked what smelled so cozy, so it definitely lingers close without being loud.
